Clinical Dietitian

Alicia is a registered and licensed dietitian at Saint Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta and currently serves oncology patients in the Clinical Specialty Center. Alicia completed her internship at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia after graduating from the University of Georgia in 2000. Alicia has been with Saint Joseph's Hospital since 2007. 

Alicia is a frequent presenter for the Saint Joseph's Cancer Survivors’ Network and has authored several articles in “Male Call”, the quarterly publication of the Men’s Health and Wellness Center. As the oncology dietitian, Alicia meets with patients to ensure adequate nutrition during and after cancer treatment. Adequate nutrition can help maintain strength and energy and help promote healing. A consultation with Alicia before, during or after treatment can help alleviate nutrition-related side effects (such as nausea or diarrhea) that can negatively effect your treatment.
